Well, not so random as it is in subject with the message board. The Colonel that Tex used to work for...did he ever have a name? Or was he just The Colonel?

The answer is not only Colonel Dobbs but it's actually posted on this website.

Though you are right in the fact that we usually just call him "The Colonel".

Aaron Conners posted his full name a long time ago in a Q&A. I believe it was Roy O'Brien Dobbs.

Second random question...what is the make and model of Tex's speeder?

Off the top of my head, I thought he called it his Lotus Speeder. I don't recall any more details except he failed to get the sunroof option.

Once again, thanks Sam! Now I remember the sunroof thing.

Umm...say, didn't Tex have some sort of thing on his vid-phone where he looked up information? Instead of calling people? I vaguely remember something like that. So...

Did it exist? And what was it's name?

Okay Nick, I had to break down and consult my book.

In Overseer, Tex has a subscription to the "American Information Database" on his vidphone. Of course, later on in UAKM and Pandora he has no funds to continue paying his subscription fees.

I also seem to remember that he had a secretary he called from his vidphone in his speeder to get information (from Mean Streets).

I thought by UAKM he was using a pirated copy.

Jen,
In UAKM, Tex was using the "Crime Link Computer". He was using a pirated copy of that program which was not on his vidphone.

I only played Mean Streets for an hour just see what it looked like. Yes during that time Tex had a secretary and he had a watch phone like Dick Tracy.

So...Clint goes from being this bum who lives behind Rook's Pawn Shop to owner of a chocolate stand. Did he have money already? Did he come into money? Is it ever explained how he managed to start up his own business?

Man now that's an obscure question. I don't remember them saying anything about where he got the money for his chocolate stand.

I haven't heard the reference recently, but I remember a play-through where Tex said something about the city creating a Curb An Urban Blight program to make jobs for the unemployed and homeless, which Clint was eligible for since he was a bum living in a dumpster.

More I think about it, I think it was in one of the dialogue options with Clint when you first go there.
