Do you know what is strange, it will be almost one year age whean I purchased and downloaded all Tex games fromGOG.
I started all only onece and never continued in playing.....
Something impossible in times when I played Tex 10 years ago....
Things are changing, we are changing....(at least I)

Sorry to hear that Paulino... Even with my Photographic memory I still find Tex to be a very enjoyable game, all of them...
And having a Photographic memory makes it hard for games to be replayable for me... But with Tex, that's why I have such passion for this game... Somehow it is just as enjoyable now as it was 15 years ago...

I'm in a similar situation. I've bought all 5 games from GOG but have not replayed them all the way through. I think part of me remembers the story well enough, I can play the scenes over in my mind and the other part of me doesn't feel like going through the puzzles again.

I hate to admit it, but I think I'm getting more impatient as I get older. I still love Tex as much today as I did in 1998. However, these days I do more talking about Tex than playing the games.

Any word on whether these will work under Windows 7 x64?

Can't wait to test them all out again, but don't want to use up my entire month's downloads only to find I'm out of luck.

Thanks,
-- John.

Do the original creators get any cut from the sale if I buy? I would hate to buy it if they didn't...

Yes the original creators made a deal with GOG to distribute their games there. We at the board highly encourage people to buy their games at GOG.

Aaron Conners and Chris Jones have started a new game company called "Big Finish Games" and have so far released two games.

Feel free to check them out. http://www.bigfinishgames.com/forum/index.php

Oh believe me, I already bought and played those :)

Just trying to get UAKM working in a Windows VirtualBox install since I don't really use Windows. It's really choppy and impossible to control the mouse so far, but I'll work on it.

What OS are you using??? If you are a Mac user, the games should work on there...

Linux. So far it's not working well at all in a virtual machine. Anyone else have any luck?

No good. No matter what I try, it just skips a lot and it is impossible to control. Thank god I found my netbook and it runs GREAT on there with Windows XP home. I'm addicted to the game all over again!

Good, glad to hear you were able to get it running at least... Nothing worse than wanting to play a game so badly and not being able to... I'm going through that with Ripper... I've tried following a few online instructions, but still no dice...
