Anyone Know For SURE if they will be making a GUN Part 2??? I know it's been Hinted at and Rumored... Anyone in the Gaming Fields like VonGlower or lotus_j or anyone else know if it's in the Making???

You know my Mother-In-Law bought me Diablo II for my B-Day or X-Mas one year and I still have not taken it out of the box... Just never got around to being in the mood to play it... The box is still sealed in fact...

Finished Too Human. Like previous Silicon Knights games, this one features just as many wrongs as it does rights. Imagine playing a dungeon crawler, where the only way to heal yourself was through random health drops from enemies and the occasional barrel. It doesn't work in practice, and death occurs frequently. That's only one of the many design flaws in Too Human. Supposedly it's part one of a trilogy; hopefully they fix the problems for part two.

Also, the original Gun was made by the developer Neversoft, and Activision probably has them working on Guitar Hero full time by now. If they decide to take a stab at a sequel, it would most likely be made by another department of the Activision. Either way, I wouldn't expect a sequel to Gun anytime soon.

Current Games
-Viking:Warrior of Asgard
-Gears of War (on hardcore mode)
-Final Fantasy I (on the PSP)

They had hinted at a Sequel a couple of years ago in a Trailer for a Tony Hawk game... It's going to be called Magruder's Ghost if they do finish it...

Anybody remember an old adventure game called Clandestine?

-Fred
Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
'The World Ends With You' on the DS. A great little action RPG that has really fresh gameplay.

Also, lots of World of Warcraft and Audiosurf.

I think it was made by Trilobyte, the makers of 7th Guest and 11th Hour.

The last I heard it has yet to be green lit. It only sold around 270,000 copies total (combined from all platforms). So while modestly successful (especially since Neversoft routinely works in small production teams) it wasn't a game that screamed "SEQUEL!"

Neversoft wants to make it. They threw a poster in the Tony Hawk game to try and gather interest. Activision has toyed with the idea on at least two occassions and both times their board decided not to green light it.

If it was green lit, Neversoft would be making it. They have an outline of a sequel already worked up.

I've never understood the lack of "western," based FPS. You'd think that would be the perfect setting for a nice FPS. I rather preferred the LucasArts title "Outlaws," but that did poorly in sales too (about the same as GUN).

Shame I wish there were sequels to both games in the works.

Outlaws... Never heard of that one...
As for Gun, yes I liked it very much, I would love a Sequel... The controls weren't over complicated, the gameplay was lake fluid and just kept flowing... All those side missions to build up cash...
I'll have to look into Outlaws... Is it on all Consoles as well??? My searches seem to show it only being a PC game...

Dracula Origin... Good Puzzle game, though they were a little on the easy side, either that or they were right up my alley logic wise and just seemed more on the easy side... Gameplay was rather short though... I guess I expected a little too much for 20 bucks... The ending, however, does leave it open for a Sequel...

Now I gotta find another game to get into...

I played as Mulder in the X-Files game, how about you (or alternatively which are you going to choose)? I haven't got around to playing Scully, other than FF7 back in the day I don't replay games much. It is pretty OK, camera angles kinda annoyed me but other than that it was entertaining enough. At least unlike the FMV game they actually let you play as Mulder and Scully instead of some random agent who happens to come across them for a bit. I was a huge fan of X-Files back in the 90s, it helped that I thought Mulder was a cutie :) (By that I mean more the character, because I like that characters personality and so on, I haven't seen David Duchovny in much else). Went to the film at the cinemas recently too, thought it was OK too, interesting storyline, but not too sure about how the characters played out, hoping there will be another final film to wrap up the aliens arc. Even if the aliens arc was confusing to me and so I think I might of liked the standalone monsters more, I still want to see a resolution :)

Grim Fandango is a great game.
I just wish I had more time to play games.... I miss being a kid.
I know how you feel. :(

I have a friend who keeps telling me about this one. Hope to get it and play it sometime.

Outlaws is PC only, but it is an amazing game. It "feels," like you're in an old spaghetti western. The music is so close to something from a Sergio Leone film it's amazingly thematic. You play an ex-Marshall who has his wife murdered and daughter kidnapped while you're at the local store buying supplies. Then it's all about revenge and getting your daughter back.
I'm sorry lotus, but... I couldn't help but start laughing when I read that "...you play as an ex-marshall that has his wife murdered..." I envisioned Marshall Anderson paying off The Doc and Slim to have them whack the wife. I'm sorry, I know it's terribly wrong... but... still... :D

Also, I too, love that game. My favorite scene is when you've defeated Dr. Death, and he's hanging by his foot from a rope down a mineshaft, quoting Shakespeare. James Anderson is one cast-iron, stone-cold son-of-a-gun! I'll give'em that.
