I guess I also went down the Holodate path the first time I played the game although I don't quite remember if it was that ending or the Clown-ending I first experienced. I have, however, tried most of the endings by now only leaving out one of the path C endings as far as I remember :)

Not meaning to undercut my good buddy Cub, but there are 8 endings - technically. See if I can remember:
MS#1: Tex gets a date with Chelsee

MS#2: Holodate

LS#1: Holodate

LS#2: Clown

BBD#1: Clown

BBD#2,3,4: Tex dies

Yeah, Jim. I remember something coming up a while back about there being 8 endings.

I always thought that the clown one was only LS, but I can see how it could be incorporated into the BOBD path.

I tryed going down path C once. I never finished it. It was so freekin' depressing to watch Tex get all angry with the world, insensative and repeatedly wake up with a hang over. Not to mention the fascination with money. It was crazy cool though, to realize that after like 8+ years of having the game that I could still go back and play it and have basically a whole new game all over again though.

Same with the Gamers version over Entertainment version. It's only in the last few years I"ve even been any good at puzzles. As a 16 year old playing the games I was retardedly bad at the puzzles and would often skip 'em. Now, I can do gamers mode in Pandora AND Overseer and have all this neat new stuff!

I guess it pays to be a stupid teenager. lol The rewards come in the way of Tex Murphy years later.

Is the difference only in the puzzles themselves or other stuff? *lazy person who was never that keen on puzzles*

Umm, I think there's additional puzzles. As far as the puzzles in the entertainment mode, I believe they're the same in Gamers...it's just an added piece to the puzzles is that there are time limits which then give you more points for finishing the puzzles quicker. Less points, of course, for going slower.

There are also more puzzles i believe.

And of course more points, so you'll want to look at everything you see and pick up etc.

Most notable of the additional puzzles is the Fireball room. Boy, was I surprised when I played gamer mode for the first time. I don't know if I would call it a puzzle, actually. But it is certainly a memorable location.

what exactly happens in the fire room anyways? It seems anyone talking about it is always "thrown off guard" by it....

well, you have to cross a room in which fireballs are coming at you and you can only walk over a difficult path, if you stray a bit of it you fall into dooming lava!

after you are almost throwing youserlf out the window, you decide to go back to Entertainment...

Was it that bad? I guess if you didn't know the path it would be! But after hearing him scream in hell's agony a few times, I decided to look up the relatively simple directions for how to get across the room. And crawl!

Really, his screams are the worst part of the thing, so sometimes when going through I would just turn down the volume way low 8)

What? What am I hearing? Tex fans CAN'T get by the fireball room? "Angels of mercy - save us!"

The fireball room is a piece of coal, er, cake. Here's what you do:

1. SAVE GAME! Enter room, get low, stay low.

2. Go to the right (the one God gave you), and stay to the right.

3. When you get to the far right side, stay for a second or two and wait for the next fireball to pass.

4. Go to the middle of the maze and wait for another foreball to pass.

5. Quickly move to the door on the far right and try to open it.

6. SAVE GAME!

7. Remember this: when you are at the rear of the room, the fireballs will not harm you! They are too high.

8. Move to the second door and try to open it. Tex said that only one of the doors will work. SAVE GAME!

9. Time the next fireball and move to the third door. It's a bit tricky but not difficult.

10. Try to open 3rd door. SAVE GAME!

11. Move to the last door (it's on the far left) and open it. Enter and SAVE GAME!

See? Easy as falling down.

The firewall room is only accessible in the GamePlayers mode of Pandora. It is in the Myan Temple... In entertainment mode, when you walk through the Pentagon Chamber you would normally just get a voice over saying you fall through the floor and down the slide... but this time you enter the fireball chamber where you have to navigate along a maze over moulten lava and dodge fireballs.
