My current gaming-experience

Call me that again and scary people will suddenly show up in your bedroom in the middle of the night :D
I hate to mention this but through my work I'm usually the scary person showing up in the bedroom in the middle of the night. That, or sitting in your favourite armchair while waiting for you to come back home :P

Well, if the game's censored I'll have to go with the original title. Shouldn't be too hard to find on ebay. Not that I necessarily want some hot dirty pixel sex but I won't be bullied into playin a censored game, no matter what's censored.

Also, I've been thinking of getting all the Broken Swords games to play them again. Well, play 1 and 2 again, I never got around to the last ones.

What's your job description? Or rather, what's your line of work? :D

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
I haven't had time to play any games for a long time really. I've got a stack of games over an arm long though that I hope to play when I have the time however, so I guess I could just list those.
In order of (rough and extremely subject to change) priority:

Kingdom Hearts 1 (I'm stuck -_-)
Kingdom hearts 2
Silent Hill Origins
Odin Sphere
Soul Nomad and the World Eaters
Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 3
Atelier Iris 1 - 3
Makai Kingdom
Disgaea: Hour of Darkness (stuck!!)
Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories
La Pucelle Tactics
Growlanser: Heritage of War
Suikoden IV
Suikoden V
Suikoden Tactics
Dirge of Cerberus
Star Ocean Till the End of Time
Shadow Hearts 1 - 3
Project Zero 1 - 2
Devil May Cry 1 - 2

I'd also like to buy Soul Caliber IV for PS3. And at some point need to play all the Metal Gear Solid games because I never actually finished the 1st (just got to the end boss and had to return it to the rental shop and didn't want to have to get it out again just for that 1 bit lol... all those years ago), so I can play the new MGS 4.

Yeah.... I just need a couple of centuries of free time and I'll be all set.

As you can see I'm into RPGs and Tactical RPGs a lot. I'm also into Adventure (of course!) but not many decent ones of those around here in the West anymore sadly and I'm also into some sim games (like Theme Hospital etc.) but similarly I don't find a lot of those that click with me. I didn't know there was a new Simon the Sorcerer game, will have to check that out.

The line of work is government, the description is a mystery wrapped in an enigma :P

Then again, considering this is Canada, there aren't many mysteries or enigmas.

That's an impressive list you got there Sai. I think we'll need to figure out a way to work outside of time if you're to finish this.
Part-Time Nomad
OH NOES!! You're a METER MAID!!

And you're also female. So that's the mystery unravelling around the explored enigma. There you go.

No. Seriously. What kinda stunts do you pull? You an assassin workin' for the man? Not that anyone would ever take a canadian hitman seriously, mind you.

Alright. Really. What's your job description? I'm curious now. C'mon. Share.

Speaking of Fahrenheit aka Indigo Prophecy ( Which i gotta play a 2.nd time somewhen, due to its pure brilliance). There is a new trailer of the newest game by Quantic Dream "Heavy Rain" plus an interview with director David Cage that contains some ingame stuff. In these ingame scenes you can actually see that "Heavy Rain" will feature the same type of action-sequences like Fahrenheit.
Plus the interview reveals something of the very impressive use of emotions within the game.

Too bad it is announced as an exclusive PS3 Title until now, but things might change.
Well, this is our website: http://www.csis-scrs.gc.ca/index-eng.asp

If you look for job descriptions, although ridiculously vague, mine would be Intelligence Officer. Got recruited right on campus because of the severe lack of personnel since the end of the cold war.

I like the part about accountability. The organigram is all nice and shiny there but the truth is we only answer to the Inspector General, an entirely independent body from parliament who very rarely mingles in our affairs.

Back on topic, thanks for the links Von! I'll throw that on my pile of "anxiously waiting for" items.

Ahahahahahahah!! I have contacts in the Canadian government!

Cub I'll give you a warning. MGS4 don't play it again after you finish it, because it'll feel like a rented video you watched too many times before taking back.

Just put it away and come back in a month or so because the game's cinematics are excessively long so as a result the more times you see them the more times you get bored with them as what happened with me when I last played.

I do plan on going back to the game soon.
MGS4 is not a game. It's an interactive movie.

Just about... It does have A LOT of movie to it... Unless you play around a lot in the battle fields, there is probably more Movie than actual game...
But they also claim that this will be the last of the series...

I wonder how MegaMan would do as a FMV game...
I also wonder if anyone will turn MegaMan into an Actual Movie...

Yeah I kinda get that feeling. I was surprised how short the shooting parts were and how often I am pulled out of the action into some kind of transitional cut-scene or a phone call. It gets a bit annoying after a while. I mean; walking 20 meters and clocking some guy with the but of your gun, then proceeding another 5 meters down the road is not what I would call a cut-scene activating moment. lol!

-Cub. =o)
Without going into too much detail - MGS4 is made out of mostly cut-scenes. But the ending feels like it's worth it.

At least the first time through. I've no illusions of playing through it again any time soon.
