Box Covers

I just noticed that the box-covers in my tex-files collection are pretty lo-res. Could someone possibly send me a link to some hi-res versions or pm me if you have them and I can give you my email address? Thanks a whole bunch!

I will see if I can scan my boxes in when I get home from work.

Aren't there some on MobyGames? I've got some already - (got them from a downloaded version of the games - because my discs all got destroyed) I can load them up for you if you'd like assuming moby games doesn't already have them.
Here you go Rockefeller... sorry for taking so long:

Had to edit out those dang advisory stickers which they love to stick over all the good bits. Anyway, I have no idea what you are using them for, but enjoy them all the same!

I have no idea how to thumbnail stuff, but if you'd like, Rockefeller, or anyone else, I uploaded to Imagecave a bunch of Tex items .(the more rare things) Same things as on the old MSN group, but newer members might not have seen them.
The scanning really does show the imperfections though. And for some reason, Imagecave is compressing the file size. If anyone needs a higher res image, I can email it.

Tex with an earring and a Bogie button???? Priceless.

Nice stuff. That Texisms shirt is funny. That would be pretty simple to do though and someone probably just made that themself. There's a T-shirt place by me that prints whatever you want onto T-shirts for a small fee, just need to supply the image. I put a self-made logo on a T-shirt for a Graphic Design project at College using them once. And when I was at school I learned to do silk-screen printing so as to put some of my own designs on some T-shirts for yet another Graphic Design project. :D

The only thing that'd make that T-Shirt better though, is if the Tex iconic image was actually made of quotes. As in ASCII art. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ASCII_art
(Ruri_Ayanami from the old Tex Murphy ezboard).

Awesome! Thank you all so much :D I can't get over 'Das Luzifer Projekt' - What a translation, I had no idea! Btw, doesn't that Mean Streets cover remind of Val Kilmer and Drew Barrymore?

Looks more like an amalgamation of Val Kilmer's face and Charlie Sheen's old haircut to me.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!

Beat me to it... was going to say that that's my favourite box becuase I remember saying to myself when I first saw it god knows how long ago: "I had no idea Tex Murphy was played by Val Kilmer!". Of course, I soon realised the artist probably might've had a thing for Kilmer.

And Drew Barrymore... That's classic... well observed.

Were the UAKM, PD and OS boxes a good res for ya?

Perfect! Thanks! Now I can make a proper myspace background

Did I say myspace background? I meant...uhm, gotta go

Thanks so much again!

Say, it'd be really cool to see other rare Tex memorabilia here as well...anyone?

There's a man on that cover? Oh! Yeah! There he is! Sorry, got something in my eye.

Well, Tex in the manner of Bogey wearing an eraring? Man! The guys lived dangerously back then.

Let's address the bigger topic about the Mean Streets box cover. Essentially, they've doomed the world by telling us the 80s make a comeback in the future ... Oh boy...

errr... What the hell do you think Cyberpunk was all about? EXACTLY that!
-About the cover above - was it the official one, or was the Bladerunner-like one the official one - or were they both official - see I was still mixing water and woodglue to throw at girls when Mean Streets came out, so I wouldn't know :P
