I know quite a few of you have shown us the real you in your avatars... but I am sure we can have a lot of fun sharing some pics around to get to know the who's-who of this wonderful community a little better.

Net Roam? I always read it as netro-am!

Jerry Dan: Hehe - I can see it might be a bit of trouble seeing as how I didn't use the capital letters in my nickname. But I kinda thought NetRoam sounded cool since it has 2 meanings for me.

1. I'm Roaming the Net hence the nick NetRoam ... kinda nice

2. I made up the nick NetRoam (or netroam - whatever) by reversing the letters of my real name and adding the letter 'a' (hence #1). My real name is Morten which makes the reverse name 'netrom' - so there's the reason for my nick

What on Earth a 'netro am' is, I have no idea

Here's me. The beard's starting to get a little grey, but not bad for 55. I've had my beard since I was 19. I shaved it once when I was 36, but I got no respect. True story: The cops pulled me over thinking I wasn't old enough to drive. So I grew it back immediately.


He's me training to be a Jedi (or maybe a Ninja, I can't remember.) My daughter and I both fence. Sometimes we have a few bouts down the basement.



And here's me again with the traditional fencing salute. Well, not quite, I moved my blade to the side for the photo.

Yeah I don't know what a Netro AM would be either.

Maybe some kind of morning sickness pill for pregnant ladies?

I must admit that I did the same mistake. (Although I haven't the slightest idea what this could be )

I read it as,"Ni-trome".

Well, I might as well toss my hat into the ring.

To be honest I read it that way too. I thought it was like a radio station name you made up. AM as in a morning radio station (so Netro AM). And then, your signature fit because Tex is playing music for (and introducing) the radio station (with the station ident on the piano).
