That was a pretty good laugh for me. I happen to live there and I know the local culture, which, for me, makes this utterly hilarious.

You know, and this would be just for me ...
I think it would have been even better if he had *specifically* targeted houses of those mormons who actually woke up at 5 in the morning and did the house calls. See how they like it. I mean after all, it's just a message they're spreading, right? So what is the difference? What's good for the goose is good for the gander.
I had this idea to open the door to the Jehova's witnesses around here naked with a bunch of fake blood running from the rubber chicken neck I was holding and be like "what?!"
Just haven't had the kahonies to do it yet.

I loved that show. The whole show was pretty much like that, going around attacking other religions. Its great stuff, saw the DVD box set for something like AUS$20 a while back. Very cool show. The other show "speaking in Tongues" that John did was the worst show on Australian TV, thank god they took it off when they did
Btw, anyone see the part where he joined the KKK... little did they know, he was Jewish lol

I enjoy talking with the Mormons or the Jehovahs when they come by. They are a real nice bunch of people, they don't ask for money, they just like to talk about God in a polite, non-confrontational way.
It's the political activist people that are 'in your face' all the time. They want you to sign a petition, they want you to give them money, they want you to say 'Yes, I agree with everything you say.' They're the ones I'd like to chase off the porch with my 12 gage.

My roommate was coming home one night and was stopped by some Mormons, who asked if they could come to our apartment and tell him all about their faith. He said he didn't have time, but gave them our address anyway. They've already come by once trying to find him. He just hides inside with the door locked, and keeps the TV volume down low.

Have you considered the possibility your roommate may hate you and have hatched a diabolical scheme to drive you mad with religious people?
I have a hoodie (sweater with a hood on it, for you who need explanations) that has a huge yellow star on the chest with red lettering across it saying "I AM JEHOVAH!"
And on the back, it says "You didn't witness $#it."
My mom is a former Jehova's Witness. And even she cracked a smile at it. Nice to see them have a sense of humor and show some of that much-spoke-of tolerance.

Reminds me of a spin-off shirt based on the Final Fantasy 7 game. "Jenova's Witness"

Any post that has a VGCats link is a good post.
I have considered that he might have done it on purpose to bombard me with the Mormon influence. But he gave them his name, and I wasn't even around, so I can't give him credit for being diabolical this time.
Or maybe that's precisely why I should...

Old Rodney Dangerfield joke:
I get no respect; no respect at all. The other day my doorbell rang. I opened the door and there were these two Jehovah's Witnesses. They looked at each other then looked at me and said "We're not interested."
And a JW colleague of mine told me that one!

I enjoyed those links, Sai.
The Rodney Dangerfield joke is a classic.

Jim, you should take some time and read through the old VGCats comics. They're hilarious. Not all of them, but most.
