Next Tex Chat
Lately there has been some interest in getting together another Tex Chat. Historically its been hard to get a good time for everyone since we are all so spread out over the world.
If memorie serves then I believe most of our old chats were on Saturdays and between 1-8pm Eastern Standard US.
I am open to suggestions, But remember that a lot of us are in the "land down under" so we need to make sure that what ever time we choose can fit both the North Americans and Aussies. (and as many of the rest of the world we can fit)
Any suggestions for a time ?
As for the day I would suggest next saturday. As for an opening suggestion for a time lets say 4pm Eastern US.
ps. I have no idea the time differences so as much input as possible would be helpful!

So we're talking about this Saturday? I can try ot make it, but I'm not sure that I can. This weekend is booked for me. Next week however I think would be best so people can better plan. Thats my thoughts anyway. Later.

I agree next Sat would be easier as I normally work that day, but can rearrange my schedule if given some notice. I would like throw out a request for either before noon EST, or after 7:00pm EST. I don't know how that translates into Aussie time. Just a hopeful.... I want to be there truly. It's hard to tell a client that you have to cancel to go to a computer chat.
I think maybe you mean Eastern Hemisphere. Although the seasons are opposite in the north and south hemispheres, local time is related to longitude, not latitude. For instance, South America is the same day as North America. You're talking Saturday american time right? Us aussies are a day ahead (along with the rest of the southern hemisphere)
No we havent been that lucky but hopefully one day someone with better connections can talk him into a chat.
I am going to suggest a time since no one else has yet. Please let me know if this is a problem and if so then a possible alternative. I think we can try to find a time frame that we (mostly) can agree to.
How about
12 Noon on Saturday July 2, Eastern Standard time US.
