Passing a small milestone...

... is better than passing a small kidney stone. :)

In amongst the normal rig-a-ma-roll, I neglected to realize that Monday was the One Year Anniversary of this new Message Board! It's been one year (and two days) since we made the switch from eZboards and never looked back.

Anyway, not a huge deal, but do with it what you will. :)

I'm glad we changed, I'm not fond of ezboard. I certainly am more inclined to post now. :D

Where ever you go in the world, there you are.

And it is nice to be here when we get here.

Thanks to all who continue to support this site and to all the faithful who are awaiting a new game. May all our dreams come true.

Wow! That was a little too mushy for TOG. 8)

Happy birthday to you, happy birthday to you, happy birthday dear.... um..... Unofficial Tex Murphy Message Board *puff* *puff* *pant*... happy birthday to you!

I must commend James on making the switch to Phpbb... in my opinion it is the best message board system out there. Another forum I visit recently switched from Phpbb to V-Bulletin... and wholst the features of V-Bulletin are pretty darn neat, I still don't think it is as well structured as the Phpbb system.

Cheers to many more years! (And beers!)...

...speaking of which, I think it is high time for another one of my drunk threads.

What a wonderful idea! I loveeeed the drunk threads. It made me want to .... drink ... and be sloshy and slur my speech. Some people ask me, why do you drink, Is it a social thing, do you like drink on special occasions? and I answer with this ... "Heck no. I drink to be sloshed." When I drink, I don't just ... attempt to catch a buzz. I attempt to blackout and have somebody else videotape my expoits ...

Like this one time I climbed onto the roof with my underwear on, and sang with a Lamp as my microphone, and did my best impression of Tom Cruise from Risky Business. Then promptly jumped into the pool. Good times.

Actually, I think it would be great if we could all get together in a chat, and drink till we can't stand up. And then have someone who doesn't drink be the designated ... log holder. And then laugh at our conversations ...

Ehh ...

It sounded better in my head.

OH MAN!!!!

Hey James!!!! Set up a chat for that?

good times!!!!

I started hearing Wembley Fraggle singing Here to There when you said that.

"I'm always here.
I'm never there.
I'm never, ever anywhere.
Excepting here, 'cause here is where I'm in.
But when I go from here to there,
My here comes with me everywhere,
'Till there is here, and here is where I've been."

Cub?
Does this new signature mean you finally snagged a girl?
Or is it just more wishful thinking?

In any case I liked it, gotta go try that on my wife... you never know what might help

You are spot on Giv (with the first one, that is).

We have been together for almost 6 months now, and I love her to bits... what can I say, I found someone who can put up with me.

My last signaute (the blue one that said: "Fox that got the Kitty")... I know it's kinda corny, but I call her Kitty and she calls me Fox.

I guess deep down I am a romatic.

Cool, a Romatic.
I always wanted one of those.... uhm, what do they do?
j/k

You know Cub, when you meet the girl who can even make a hard down- under chap such as yourself a romantic you know it is serious...

Good Luck (Mazal Tov? -soon?)

P.S.- to all of the more "experienced" guys, lets save all the jokes and warnings till after he's hooked
