What's going on?!

It seems like posting numbers have been going down over the past couple of days! I find that when I don't see any 'orange' topics I tend to leave and wait until I do see one so I can respond. Is anyone else like that? That's why I'm starting this thread, so that people can enter the forum and see an orange topic...But whoever you are, you have to promise that if you're reading this you have to post a reply so that the thread remains orange; it can be about anything - just keep it going, and lets see how long we can get it. Maybe we should arrange a time for everyone to meet up on the forum so that things can get really hectic. Let's say this Thursday, May 18th'06, 3:00 PM New York time (do the math for your timezone). This is a time where I believe most people will be up. This is gonna be so much fun, we'll just post in THIS thread like it was a chatroom...
I can't wait

Today, I was at my Mom and Dad's. Mother's Day and my Dad's birthday. Happy Mother's Day to all you Moms out there.
Here's something else cool: Yesterday, I spent all day at the Division Qualifiers for this year's Fencing Summer Nationals Tournament. Unfortunately, I wasn't fencing. I was there for my daughter and I also take care of her equiptment. (Gotta do repairs on the stuff once in a while.) She ended up qualifying for two events and she also won silver and bronze medals. The Nationals will be held in Atlanta this July. Any of you guys from Jaw-ja?

Well...I usually check this board once or twice a day, just to see if there's any activity going on. Yes indeed, has been kinda quiet lately.
Hope everyone had a happy Mother's Day.

You may refer to me as 'Agent Orange'.
I'm on a pun-streak. Sheesh.

Not from there, but I lived in Savannah for 5 1/2 years. 4 for school, and then 1 1/2 for work and other mundane activities.
P.S. Congrats to your daughter!

Had a wonderful weekend. Spent saturday finally clearing up some project deadlines, so that I could have a nice free Mother's day.
On sunday I took my mum out to lunch, and gave her a gold watch as a present. I actually also bought a watch for myself and my dad (whi had his birthday on the 7th of May)... gotta love closing down sales! Eventually, my mum demanded that I take her to where the sale was.
then I spent the evening over at my girlfriends house. Only to accidently sleep in the next morning and show up to work 20 mins late. But hey, it was a good weekend so I don't care!
this thread kinda reminds me of the shout threads I used to create. I vote for a sticky so that we have easy access to various shouts.

I also had a great weekend. Summer is finally here so the weather is great, but not too hot yet (it goes above 40 centigrade hereabout in July-August for a few days). We went for a drive up the mountain for a family reunion on my wife's side: there were more than 100 people there from three generations, all related through my wife's great-grandfather. For me, it was awesome.
In case anybody is interested, after re-installing Windows 98 on the PC at home, UAKM works but without sound BOOHOO. PD and TMO are OK though. I am reasonably certain I have the latest sound drivers. The PC doesnt get upgrades so it can be used for TM!

Dr. Paul:
Congratulations to you and your daughter; that's great!
I grew up around Atlanta and now live in Gainesville, about 45 minutes to an hour north of Atlanta.

Anything above 25 centigrade and I'd prefer to be somewhere cooler.

We're having about 25-30 degrees outside right now. Meaning I am not staying indoors for much longer

My weekend consisted of a friend's 25th b-day party on saturday which ended when I got home at 7 in the morning. And then remembered that I had my sister's confirmation to attend at 11am. Oh glee. Cold showers abound. Where's the tux? AAGH! But I made it, and sunday was a good day all around as well. Tons of family attending, lots of relatives I haven't seen in years. All in all - I slept for 14 hours straight last night
