I'm collecting information on retro games and writing out as much as I can for a new website that does deep dives. Much of it is done in an oral history kind of way, piecing together the story from whatever direct quotes I can find in clips and magazines. Eventually I start to pester the developers, but I try my best to save that until I have enough information to ask reasonably informed questions.

Mean Streets is a tough one. Any materials like interviews would be fantastic.
