Has anyone had success with using Overview to extract video?

HI,
I came across the video extract tool in the downloads and tried using it in a Windows 7 VM and it wasn't able to see any video files from UAKM, Pandora or overseer but I could see music and image ones. Has anyone else here had success with it? Should I use an older OS VM like Windows XP or older?
