hey all!
Since I have not been here for a wile, I'm totally out of the loop regarding Tex. Have there been any developments? Or are the chances for a new Tex game just as slim as before?
Thanks / Kristoffer

Hey visp, good to see ya!
Chances are still slim but starting to put on some weight. Now that the guys have left MS they are in a better position to pursue the likelihood of a new Tex game. Keep the faith!

It's been about 10 years since the last game, usually you would think there is no hope at this point, and after 10 years I was thinking that too

However, I'm happy to see that you're saying there might be some hope now.
I would think that FMV would be out of the question now of course being the cost, you don't see it anymore, and also the actors are much older now and they were already older in the last game. I do wish there were some more FMV games though, it made you feel more a part of the game.
Keep us posted, thanks!

There is indeed good reason to be hopeful. Patience, my friends, patience.

Friend, please tell us what reason you have for this hope. You may yet be a prankster sent to prey on the weak and faint of heart, drawing them by charm of false expectation to a cruel and painful end. Name yourself, O sweet-tongued Phantom!

You should be a writer, Jerry. Good stuff!
Nice to see posts from GQ and WD. Please visit often. The more believers we have posting, the greater the chance of something new.
Alex - faith is eternal, hope is a necessity, and desire is the mother of creation. Once we lose any of those three, we might as well shut down the board and pack it in. I WILL NOT DO THAT!!!

Not a prankster. Just a mega fan with a cause. When I can say more, I will.

This board is just teeming with people able to write the simplest of sentences in a way that make your eyes want to slurp them off the page. I read you were a linguist Jerry, and I know you're harboring a writer inside, Jim. Maybe that's part of the atraction of coming to this place. It's not all 'omg lol u sux' or 'yeh ah bawt m'self a new tee-vee'. It's well-articulation and real love of the topic subject.
Well, that, and, y'know... all the warm souls that reside here

Aawww....shucks...
I really am amazed at the talent that exists on this board. Seems like everyone here is well-educated or has some interesting skill. Maybe it says something about the kind of people that are attracted to the Tex games.

BTW, I like the serenity prayer, Fred.
