Just wondering ...

How many of you guys have been with Tex from the very beginning, I'm talking Mean Streets here in '89?
Except, for Overseer (I couldn't afford a PC that ran the game at the time of its release) I bought every Tex game the first week they came out.
I think Mean Streets is a sorely underrated game, and I have a feeling that lots of Tex fans haven't really played it.
The main reason I'm asking is because I recently read an article in PC Gamer discussing Tex and was saddened by the "just skip 'em they're trash attitude" towards Mean Streets and Martian Memorandum by the writer.
I love these early Tex games (and all the early Access games like Amazon: Guardians of Eden and Coundown, the latter starring Mac Malden himself as Mason Powers, but I digress) and think that the hardcore Tex fans here owe it to themselves to play these 2 games.
...just remember that you can always use the autopilot in Mean Streets.
