A little announcement

Well this post has been a very very long time coming. For years my wife and I have been trying for a baby. Then a couple of years ago my wife and I took the decision to turn to IVF.
Over the years we have been spending holidays at doctors appointments and our savings on funding this privately. The worst part of the whole process has easily been the emotional rollercoaster we have endured, along with some truly terrible physical and emotional moments.
But I'm thrilled to finally be able to say that my beautiful wife is expecting our first child, in June 2013.
We're about to start telling friends people via Christmas cards - we thought it would be a nice surprise that way so please don't post on Facebook. But I always wanted to be able to tell you guys and gals on this board at an early stage, as this place has always been a home from home for me.
Yep, next year is going to be pretty incredible!
