Unofficial Tex Murphy

sorry for what must seem like my moronic enthusiasm but this is the first Tex site I've come across that is actually still active. I was under the impression that we Murphy fans were a lost breed as rare as the games themselves. Actually we must be if it's taken me this long to find someone. It's amazing that there are still people out there and a real shame that companies don't make games as inspired as the tex series these days. Well sorry about my little spaz lol Just wanted a post to introduce myself.

Hi Ace,
welcome to the club. I guess there is always safety in numbers, or at least comfort. Tex fans can be found, you just have to look hard enough. Post often!

Likewise, welcome, make yourself at Home. It's not quite the Law and Order party's reception, but stick your feet up and help yourself to some coffee.

I would be careful with the coffee Demonlwayer's suggesting, but do make yourself at home.

thank you guys very much for your greetings. I have to say never before have I been so warmly welcomed to a message board. I can say right now I'll really enjoy my time on this board. You can all bet I'll take a very active participation here.

Eat it up, Ace. I never got such a warm welcome (except from Jim - thank you, Jim). I chalk that up to the fact that one of my first widely-read posts was in that political thread debacle. (Remember that one, Cub?) Sheesh. Understandably, it no one actually thought to say, "I'd run naked through a nuclear reactor core before stepping foot in America! Hope you stick around, Jerry Dan!" or "Cub, your political views are more worthless than lama spit!! By the way, welcome to the board, Jerry Dan. Lots of fun to be had here!"

So the moral of the story is, as long as you don't talk politics or religion, we can have a good time.

Lol yeah I know what mean, jerry. it's like that everywhere. Well I'm not one to start those types of arguements unless I'm provoked. So as long as i don't feel threatened (lol I'm like a stray dog) I'll stay away from those subjects
