Actor and American Indian activist Russell Means died of cancer today at the age of 72. Tex Murphy fans perhaps know him best as villainous shapeshifter 'The Chameleon' in Under a Killing Moon, and we extend our condolences to his family and friends.

I just heard the news about Russell Means and wanted to express my condolences.

I'll always remember in Tex lore as The Chameleon... a worthy adversary for our Fedora-clad detective.

So Sad... I had always hoped for a Chameleon Return in a future game...

Such a great political leader for the Indian nation as well...

Truly A Big Loss...

Death Be Not Proud

by John Donne

Death be not proud, though some have called thee
Mighty and dreadfull, for, thou art not soe,
For, those, whom thou think'st, thou dost overthrow,
Die not, poore death, nor yet canst thou kill mee.
From rest and sleepe, which but thy pictures bee,
Much pleasure, then from thee, much more must flow,
And soonest our best men with thee doe goe,
Rest of their bones, and soules deliverie.
Thou art slave to Fate, Chance, kings, and desperate men,
And dost with poyson, warre, and sicknesse dwell,
And poppie, or charmes can make us sleepe as well,
And better then thy stroake; why swell'st thou then?
One short sleepe past, wee wake eternally,
And death shall be no more; death, thou shalt die.

Chameleon in character and chameleon in real life; he's ascended and evolved to a higher being in a much safer place. My heartfelt condolences to his family and friends.

Great poem by John Donne. I read about him at school. Some amazing things, and I'm sure his words apply to Russell - he has earned his place up there.
