Want "Overseer" and "Pandora Directive" to work on WinXP
I was able to play these two games on my computer until last year when I had to reformat. Now, no matter what I do, the games won't play. Pandora starts but it's glitchy and then when I try to leave the first room, the screen gets a bunch of horizontal lines all over. I have tried repeatdly to solve the problem, using every suggestion I can find but nothing works. I have the origonal disks. DOSbox used to work but doesn't now. And Overseer won't even work at all. What can I do? I REALLY want to play again.

this is the thread for the hd installer for pandora, you don't need gog version for xp unless its 64bit windows
have set any compatabily mode for the exe file. Pandora works with no problems in xp

I didn't even know about that.
You can always try what Plumgas suggested.
Gog would be a last resort, should everything you try, not work.
Although, you may run into the problem where if you can't get the cds working, the gog version might not work as well, especially if there is an issue with the computer.
It is strange that it worked before, and does not work now.
I would start with the Hard drive/ dvd install, and post on here again after trying that first.
