Bummer Frank, looks like I am going to be in London 2 weeks after you.Frank wrote:I will be in London (for the first time) for both work and leisure between Oct 8th and 14th. Anyone of you fine folks interested in hitting the pubs or just discussing our Tex addiction, let me know!

Without checking my work diary I can do any day that week too. Can I *strongly* suggest that we meet on the 10th October? There is a very good reason for this! How about 6.30 in Holborn or Covent Garden?
There's the Shakespeare's Head near Holborn Tube, maybe the Cheshire Cheese on Fleet Street (where Charles Dickens used to drink) or in Covent Garden there's tons of places we could meet.

Maybe I can book a roundtrip flight as well, in and out the same day. I mean, it's a 30 minute drive to the airport, and about 90 minutes flight time. Then it's just a matter of getting from whatever airport I land at and down into town. Probably doable.
I'll look into it.

Pirates, vampires, zombies, ninjas, ghouls, aliens, goblins, monsters, robots, sorcerers, undead, werewolves, demons, mutated dinosaur-cyborgs and those pesky phone salesmen! The shotgun is a one-size-fits-all solution!
Work has kept me offline for a little while, but I'm within the civilised world of the interweb once again!
Is the 10th still an option? Your strong recommendation has me intrigued, and Wednesday is easily doable for my schedule.
Fred, I had figured you woukd have mastered teleportation by now. What's this I hear about using airplanes? How very 20th century of you!
