I'd like to see Will Wheaton as the rival P.I. - given his recent resurgence on Big Bang as well as in The Guild

And maybe Felicia Day as a... I dunno, Felicia Day-ish character? Possibly in a role kind of like Archie Ellis.

Throwing that out there. I need me some Wesley Crusher come back as a bad ass P.I. - I do think he's an excellent actor, though. I was a big Next Gen fan when I was a kid, and he was my favorite character.

The only problem I have with either of them, is that they both come with associations. And those associations aren't necessarily in sync with the story, setting, ambiance or atmosphere being created.

I have nothing bad to say about Wil Wheaton or Felicia Day, I'm just saying it might be tough to find spots for them.

That being said? Wil Wheaton could be a fun Nikola Tesla. If he's featured as a character in flashbacks or reveals, that is. Felicia Day would contrast nicely as Chandler Avenue's new News Stand vendor. Compared to Chelsee, that is.

I have to agree with Fred, I don't see Wheaton fitting in with the Tex style that has been created...
Personally, I don't care for him all that much... He was great as a kid, I just don't get that feel from him as an adult... He should probably stay where he is, popping up in prime time shows from time to time... I really don't think he could pull off the rival P.I...

You know who might be able to pull it off though, George Eads... I think he is a very good actor...
