PayPal is now available on the Big Finish Games site.
Spread the word! :)

I'm waiting until they make an announcement on the Kickstarter before I link it but then again they're not very good at hiding it if theyre not done yet
There are still some reward tiers missing on it.
Chris & Aaron about 18 hours ago:
Please don't donate to the Big Finish pay pal until tomorrow. We are setting up the reward tiers in them currently. We will let you know later today when it is ready for your donations. Thanks
Does anyone know how Leisure Suit Larry Kickstarter added a running total to their PayPal page?

I've sent in a suggestion that they could ask them and a link to some PHP code I found but if anyone has any further knowledge thatd be cool. It'll save them having to update people manually over and over on what the total is.

If this is the case, one would think they would hold off putting the PayPal button on the very first page of their site...? :?
Guess they were a bit overexcited; which is understandable given the last couple of days...

Jane's Kickstarter also had Paypal on her Kickstarter page so there must be a way to do it.

By the way, if you pledge by Paypal, presumably it doesn't add to the Kickstarter total? If that's the case then presumably we won't know whether we've hit 120% or 130% without official updates? :?

She had PayPal running (as Big Finish do too) but no running total I think? As I saw many in her Comments pages asking "Whats the PayPal total? How about now? What about today, whats the total today? Does anyone know the PayPal total right now, does it hit our stretch goal?"
And occassionally Jane would hop on and comment with the latest total.

It would save the guys time to have a bit of code that just shows the balance in the PayPal account. There are some donation widgets but they're focused on giving to charities or having a final goal in mind rather than unlimited.

It looks like the PayPal page shows the total, though it's not live.

Whenever it updated, there was $95 in PayPal...

I messaged them some code I found they could use to display payPal total balance but I dunno if thats what was used or how often it refreshes or anything.

They could just be updating it manually though right now.

I was thinking of shooting the Leisure Suit Larry Kickstarter people a message since theres seems to update every so often but no idea what code they used, apparently they wrote their own.

Maybe it updates when there's a contribution? Considering they haven't announced the PayPal on Kickstarter yet, that would explain the low number

On PayPal they have made tens of dollars so far!

If the counter is not live, there probably shouldn't be a counter.

As long as the counter updates when there's a new PayPal donation that's fine. Preferably it would also refresh periodically to get new Kickstarter numbers.

I really think KickStarter should figure out a way to grab the PayPal totals and add them to the total contribution amount, as a 2nd figure or something. That would be cool.

Agreed...but they're competitors, so it's unlikely. :?

well I know jane only collected $2,000 from paypal so it seems it wasn't a issue having paypal available

Dang. That's a bit of a letdown. But it shouldn't be a big issue for us. I guess we'll have to see how close we are to 30% by the end of the KS and rally the troops to make up whatever difference there is.
