The 80's weren't bad. We could stay in the 80's forever if everyone was down...how bout it folks?

For every bit of awesomeness from the 80's, Max Headroom, Trapper Keepers, Pac Man, Member's Only jackets (

) and The Empire Strikes Back etc, there is the dark side: Shoulder pads, parachute pants, Menudo, New COKE, Return of the Jedi, and the mullet.
The 80's. A great place to reminisce, but let's blow through this as quickly as possible.

G.I.Joes, Tranformers, and Cabbage Patch Dolls were nice, but where would we be without UAKM, PD, & Overseer, all 90's releases?
Since our percents will be beginning to correspond with Access Software's history in a couple days, perhaps we can start devoting each percent to a moment in history.
83 - Beach-Head
84 - Ollie's Follies
85 - Beach-Head II: The Dictator Strikes Back, Raid over Moscow
86 - 10th Frame, Leader Board
87 - Echelon
88 - World Class Leader Board
89 - Mean Streets
90 - Countdown, Crime Wave
91 - Martian Memorandum
92 - Amazon: Guardians of Eden, Links 386 Pro
94 - Under A Killing Moon, Links 386 CD
95 - Links Fantasty Course: Devil's Island
96 - Pandora Directive, Links LS
97 - Links LS 1998
98 - Overseer, Links LS 99
99 - Links LS 2000
101 - Tex Murphy Radio Theater, Links LS Classic
I'm sure I missed something. Please add them too!

Well I was born in 1985...
But I still love many things from the 80s since they were repeated in the 90s. I like that the Back to the Future trilogy started the year I was born!

Holy cow! I just realized that Beach Head is an Access game. I used to play this on my C64 all the time growing up. I never knew Access made it.

No pride here. Just looking at the numbers. And I must say, pessimism and excessive worry has surely killed more dreams than optimism.

Wow, memories here! Beach Head!

I also didn't realize it was Access until it was mentioned here, and of course I can now picture the opening title screen. RIP Bruce Carver.
