Anyhow. I think we are well on track and meeting our goals. Aaron said in the Adventure Gamer interview that he would "fall on his sword" before they ever made a casual Tex game. So, this KS campaign is all or nothing. But they have had a great day today, and we are well on track for being successful. Just have to keep getting the word out there and bringing in the old fans, and making sure we get a bunch of new ones as well.

I tried ignoring the Russians once before. It turned out to be a terrible idea!

We are well past Plan B at this point. Plan B was about 10 years ago.

As for the worry, I've been nervous this whole time. I really really hope Aaron Conners at least writes a Tex book if the Kickstarter doesn't make it. We've waited too long.

I always had a soft spot for terrorist male cats. The last one I had used to enter other homes, beat up whatever lived there and eat their food. Of course, I was 5 years old back then. Left a lasting impression.

I think the odds of this failing are about 1-2% right now. Which is too high for me, but I wouldn't exactly be freaking out. We're over the hump. No project this size has ever met this pace and then failed. Not that we should get complacent.

There is no Plan B. Although at one point they had planned on making a smaller Tex, they've said that if this doesn't make it, Tex is dead. Forever. This is our final battle, it's now or never. And we WILL make it.

Another thing I've been slightly worried about is that this game gets funded, but then not enough people buy it to recoup the $300k that Big Finish are putting in. Then what? Kickstart the next game in the series? Give up on it forever?

I guess that concern is still far off though; better to focus on the current kickstarter.
