Hi all,

Chris Jones has agreed to do a chat session with us all again like he has done in the past, sometime next week. He has asked what date and time would suit best - I then will get back to him and see if this time will suit him.

So, let's figure it out... What day and time best suits us all, so we all can make it to the event?

I will take vacation time from work to make it if I had to. I'm serious.

I suppose night-time on the East coast would fit. I'm in central time, and CJ is in Utah-time. So it would be earlier for him. Really, his schedule is the most important. Don't want to keep the poor guy up until 3am.

From 6-11 eastern is good for me

Any time is a good time to talk with CJ

Mon to Fri next week, night or day will be good for me. Can't do week-ends.

I think the last chat Chris and Aaron did with us afew years back (just before Christmas), Chris and Aaron arrived at around 11am Utah time... Perhaps we should work on around this time... Perhaps Friday?

7pm-midnight eastern is good. But I know we've got a ton of other time zones to consider...

I'm more concerned with getting thousands into the chat than I am with picking a time really. Maybe it's my ignorance, but can the chat support that many users? Also, what will distinguish Chris & Aaron from all the other users in the chat, in case we have a doppelganger show up?

Yes, irc can supports thousands of users... I will setup instructions tomorrow night on how to access the channel with an irc program you download - will be 100 times more stable then the web client. If you are unable to use the program, ofcourse you can still access it via the web client.

As to how to tell it's the real deal? I'll get Chris to tell me what he will be calling himself. Last time we could tell it was him as soon as he joined due to the host mask ended in "trugolf".

The previous chats we have done have no problems so I don't see this one having any.

Wednesday/Thursday are my nights off, Monday and Friday are my busy evenings, the rest of the week is free time until 11PM to 7AM so no problem there, really.

It keeps looking like my playthrough will start on the 8th. I don't see too many other conflicts.
