For those who didn't catch it yet, Oslo just got bombed by Al-Qaida.

Alive and well here. We dont know that its Al-Qaida yet though. There was a "scandinavian" looking guy who suposedly did the shooting at the island, and police think that its the same man who did the bombing.. he is caught now.

Don't even joke about it. This guy set of a bomb that killed seven people, and injured more. Then he drove out to a political convention for teenagers held on an island and shot and killed at least ten people, I don't know how many injured. There are still kids missing that dove into the water to try and swim away. Searches are ongoing.

We're talking about a guy who very nearly pulled a Guy Fawkes, and then proceeds to murder children with a machinegun while they're at summer camp.

The sad thing is, at worst, if nothing changes, he'll be in prison for 21 years and then released.

...Holy Christ. The police just confirmed the number of people actually killed at the summer camp as 80, bringing the total to 87 dead. Several were found in the water, apparently, having tried to swim away.

Jesus... Eighty people. By machinegun fire. Eighty! Teenagers!

I hope this guy gets what's coming to him.

I was reading about this a little while ago. Awful, a monster.

My god.....

This is so awfull, im shaking with discust and anger. that one SICK individual could do this... we dont know if he is working alone but i hope they charge him with treason and shoot him.

As i write this they say on the news that this is a "rich" guy, who lived on the west side (the rather rich side of Oslo) and hes a neonazi (or at least a extreme right winged).

It's heart breaking to think of those innocent kids.

You know, I never would've guessed it was some rich yuppie crazy asshole who did this if he didn't get himself caught. Neither would I have guessed it was a political statement. If he had left the country after the bomb went off, then those Al-Qaida guys who claimed to be behind it would've been left with the blame.

I guess he hoped to be able to mow down the entire camp and make his escape because everybody was too busy with a bombed-out downtown Oslo. He thought wrong.

And yeah, I hope he gets life in prison for this. An actual life sentence, though. Not the pussified 21 years maximum that we currently have.

I also hope he lives every day inside in gut-wrenching fear of what the other inmates would want to do with him.

I just read all of this. I send my prayers out to all the families who have lost loved ones and prayers to those who survived that they may find a way to move on from this.
