Anybody going to see Deathly Hallows Part 1?
I'm going to see it but think I've lost all my steam for this series. That last book was so long and tedious to me.

I haven't seen any of them... Gonna wait for the Collector's Set to come out, buy them all and then make a weekend of it...
I can't stand watching pieces of a story only to have to wait and wait to see the next part...

Haven't seen a single Harry Potter movie either. I guess if I buy the Collectors Set I'm in for a real treat.

Never been a Potter fan but I am eagerly looking forward to the next Chronicles of Narnia movie. I loved the books and both movies and am hoping the next one is a blockbuster.

I am a fan. I haven't read them yet though.
I found that reading the book first makes the movies suck. The only time this didn't happen for me was with Lord of the Rings.
I actually bought my wife the book box set for Christmas.
I am also a fan of Narnia. Really looking forward to this one too.
And can't wait for the Hobbit.

I wasn't going to watch it but all the reviews are good and I've seen the last six, so I probably will see it tomorrow night - if I do I'll let you know.
They say it ends on a cliff hanger and I can't think from the book what it could be.

It ends on a Cliffhanger like LOTR did, because they took the 7th book and have split it into 2 movies...
I still remember people getting so bent out of shape over the way Fellowship Of The Ring ended... All I could think to myself was, "
They Clearly Haven't Read The Books."...

I would say all the Harry Potter movies end on a cliffhanger...just because it's a multi-part story.
I've been a fan of the series for sometime, although I have only read through book 4. It's been a long time since I read those too. At some point I want to reread them and get all the way through the series.
I saw HP7 on opening night. I thoroughly enjoyed it. For some reason, the only HP movie I didn't seem to care for was number 5. I just couldn't get into that one for some reason.

I just went to see it today. It was pretty good. I'm happy they didn't end on a cliffhanger. It was a natural ending before the next part starts. I'd give it a thumbs up.
I did not enjoy the Order of the Phoenix at all book or movie. That evil lady in pink gave me the creeps.
Wow they all look so much older now. Definitely not the adorable little kids I remember from the first movie.

Just watched this tonight - not bad and you're right, no real cliffhanger but a good point at which to end the film. I was surprised by the Harry Potter/Hermione nakedness bit!

I know shocking wasn't it? I watched an interview with Daniel Radcliff and somebody asked him about that scene. He responded that "Emma was a great kisser!"

Wait a minute, you guys are saying that the 2 main characters get naked in this newest film??? Isn't this whole series targeted at children??? I know that Overseas has a bit different outlook on that stuff, but over here there are censorship laws in place... Until Sam confirmed it, I was thinking maybe it was just in the overseas version... What all was shown???

You basically see bare shoulders and backs and it's a bit of a dreamy-like sequence. It technically didn't really happen. I'd say PG-13.

Oh okay, seeing the word "Nakedness" I was assuming more... Still though for something that is suppose to target children of about 10 and up, they could have probably left it out though...
