Does instructions on how to get the games to run on 'Windows XP' or 'Windows 7' come with them?

This is good news. I am sorry to say that I am one of those people who complain about the rope they hang me with (usually the rope clashes with what I am wearing).

I'd love to be able to play again UAKM, PD, and Overseer without having to reprogram my computer. Trying to introduce the world's greatest detective to my children in this day and age, the last thing needed is LOCK-UP.

The games just work right out of the box. The games come already bundled with DOSbox so they'll run on XP and 7 without any problem. The games work fine for me on my Windows 7 system.

I'd like to know before I purchase what kind of "DRM" there is on the setup.
Do you have to play it on only one machine or can you play it on every PC you got?

As long as you log into GOG with your account you can download the games you purchase as much as you want...

I haven't tried to play them on more than one system, but Gog says the games are all DRM-free. My understanding is what Baf said: you can log onto your Gog account from multiple computers and download your games to each computer you have.

And, thanks for posting that about Windows 7, Sam. I'm thinking it'll be time to upgrade my severely-out-of-date computer before too long and may end up with Windows 7. I'm still debating whether it would be worth it to go with a Mac, but we'll see.
