Although I see many new faces here, some of you may remember Mike Rulez, an individual who caused a commontion on the old message board several years ago with his hostility and offensive language. As a result, he was banned. Whether that ban is still active is a question for James.
Over the last four years, Mike has periodically contacted me and a few other members by MSN Messenger demanding that we assist him in reinstatement. At first, we tried to reason with him and help him recognize why he was banned, an unsuccessful attempt at best. He has never expressed any interest in any of the Tex games; in general, his unfamiliarity with the games themselves indicates that he has never played nor encountered any of them. His purpose in posting in this community and contacting members has always been a subject of speculation, but it remains a mystery.
During the past few weeks, he has reemerged once more from the dark place to which he last vanished and has begun contacting me again. As before, his purpose is unknown. I wonder if anyone else has heard from him, and whether anyone has any insight to his objectives. It's rather easy to ignore or avoid him, so these periodic contacts are a minimal nuisance...But I am curious. Four years is a very long time to continue this peculiar behavoir. I am curious as to his real motivation. Of course, I have my own speculations as to his identity.....

That reminds me of my good old days of moderatot.
At one point i had to edit all a persons posts becose he kept cursing and acusimg me of being a nazi moderator.
he actualy got other peaple behind him complaining about freedom of speech. That howeveer was fast sorted i just uploaded the sceenshots of everthing he said and i removed.

I firmly believe people have the ability to change. But, I don't think with as much love as we have on this board right now, we won't someone to come in and ruin that. I mean, come on! We have a pretty great time here right now, don't we?

4 years is stalking. If he could give one good reason why then maybe, but he had that opportunity. Why would he want to change his mind now? I can't understand why he'd still want to give his opinion now anyway if it's anti tex or anti the rest of us.
Normally I'm an optimist, but I trust JTOG and Cub's judgment implicitly. If they don't like him, I know I won't.
But I can't see how we could stop him registering under any other name anyway.
