I think that was probably my post. I used to have an AP1 and it was the best car I've ever owned. I'm still spending money and time trying to get my current car (an e90 330i) to feel as much like the S2000 as possible. One day, if the planets align, I'll have another S2K.

By the way, if you haven't checked it out already, you might want to check out the S2000 Club of America (http://www.s2kca.com). They're a great group with a wealth of knowledge about the S2000.

Ya thanx, i'm on s2kca a little bit but i'm on S2ki.com a lot more. S2K's are wicked, i'm just upgrading mine now. Just ordered a new Seibon CF hood and probably the CR front lip. Mine is an AP2 and i love it! I'll probably keep it forever unless Honda comes out with a beefier modle, V6 with 300hp stock and matching torque or something.

Every now and then I used to hear rumors that Honda was thinking of dropping a 3L V6 in the S2K (and I guess making it an S3K). The engine bay is certainly big enough. But, I think that was just a pipe dream.

I did see a concept sketch of the next Honda sports car. (I think the release will be in 2013 or 2014, but I'm not sure.) It has a V6, but will have AWD rather than RWD, and I'm just not into an AWD sports car. It will be interesting to see how much of the concept (if any) makes its way to market.

An old post, but hey what have i to do at a time like this (nada). My first car was a Daewoo Espero 1,6 1995, a real rust bucket, now i cruise around in my "awesom" BMW 318i 2k.

hehe saw that the danes pay alot for there cars.. we do too, bought my "new" car last year when this post was originaly a topic

a 2000 318i 145k km, for 18666 usd (or 112k in NOK), but since we dont pay as much tax as them i think its even, though they wanted me to pay 5k (usd) in Insurance since i was so "youngh" (25), cryed my way down to a "respectabel" 2k (usd) a year.
