How can GOG tweak games written for Win 95 and Win 98, never intended for DOS, to run in DOSBox? I've been curious about that. Anybody know?

yes I tried to run it under dos box & had nothing but crashes, seen some guides on line but I had no success. When I found the patch file for the windows hard disk version I stuck with that.

I did read on gog that users had to play around with it a bit to get it to run right.

a lot of the games from gog do run under dos box but alot lately are not dos games.

A lot of games that were made using Win95 or Win98 were really dos games, but had to run on Windows' Dos... So by editing the proper command lines in the Config files you can get games to run using Dosbox, that were originally slated as Win95 or Win98 games...
