Unofficial Tex Murphy

Hello everybody.
First of all, I know this topic is pretty useless and you don't know me because i've posted only few times since I joined.
I Just wanted to express how I feel whenever I login to check this board. I'd like to say that I feel really glad to have found this forum with a lot of nice people like Bafitis, Jim, plumgas, cyberpunk, and lots of other guys(those were the first that came to my mind, but this is also for you who is reading lol) that help people out with their problems, have really nice ideas over subjects and the most important: are true Tex's fans, just like me.
That's it! Maybe I get a little sentimental when I'm writing and seeing Tex on my screen, and all these memories from my childhood. lol
Thanks for any early help I got from you and for reading this.


PS: Sorry for the bad english if I've mispelled something, it's not my first language since I'm from Brazil. hehe

Every time a non-native speaker apologizes for his/her English, I die a little inside. I'm a linguist by training, and yet I cannot converse in any non-extinct language. Please stop apologizing, people, so I stop wanting to punch my own stupid American face.

Seriously, though - glad to have you aboard. I am continually amazed by this community's longevity, diversity, levity, and warmth. As busy as I am these days, I still can't refrain from popping in more or less frequently. Love you guys!

No need to apologize... For the most part I think we can figure out just about anything anyone says... We are a community of International Members, we do not expect all to speak excellent English...
Your English is quite good for it not being your first language... It is Far from the worst I've seen here or elsewhere...

you are welcome, someone told me some time ago that good friends don't need to be in contact all the time but knowing they are there when you need them that's what good friends are all about.

I'm really glad that you liked it. Those were simple but sincere words.

Cub described it best some years back by calling it the nicest international Hostel around. You can vanish for years, come back, and meet up with some old friends, and some new. It's been about 11 years for me, back and forth, and it's always as comforting
