Val! Remember the collective fictions we used to write on the board, where each added a chapter to the story? Val was always pretty damn good at it.

I miss Mark, the actual PI from the UK (well, England, he always cursed me for calling him British and then would threaten to take a canoe and paddle across the pond to slap me with the paddle). We used to stay up all night with Chris, Ryan, sometimes Hammer and others to speculate about the Radio Theater episodes until 5-6 in the morning. Then I'd leave for school or work, cursing him in return!

I miss Adele, mainly becuase she posted me a copy of Black Dahlia one day, and then completely dropped out of contact so I never got a chance to thank her.

I also miss Ripley...

Lets see other than the ones who have been mentioned. Matthew Buckstein, Chris Marsland, CyndiV, DV's daughter and maybe I'll go out on a limb here and say Kator.

The kindness friendship funn and love we all show here i miss that sometimes in the real world.

i mean peaple driving so fast they almost force u of the road just to get one spot in front of u in the line at the red light crossing.

and silly stuff like that.

so yeah i do miss peaple who have gone from these boards but the love and kindness will never go away.

I miss new Tex Murphy games

Who was that guy that got banned and then came back under an assumed name and then got banned again and then came back asking for forgiveness and we still banned him?

I don't miss him, I'm just trying to remember how far back I can and who else was on the board at the time.

There are a lot I miss, some have moved on, some have passed on. I miss Ripley and I always thought it a shame when the women posters stopped posting.

I think I joined the old boards right around the time of that last banning, at least it was a very recent event when I came along. Never did get an answer about what went on though.

Also, yes. I too miss Ripley and her posts.

I believe you're thinking of Mike, DL, the guy who claimed to have tourette in written form. Funny thing about this, about 3 years later when I signed on MSN he was still there and immediately proceeded to insult me. Talk about blast from the past!

I was thinking of Matthew, Blair, but I realise it's been so long I don't remember how he posted like, just that he was from Ontario and left for college around the time he vanished. I think Chris posts from time to time.

I've heard from Adele and her mother about 2 years ago, from Dragon. I think they were in England or something. Funny thing about the internet, no matter how long it's been, people keep on resurfacing.

I remember Mike somewhat now. That was some time ago.

I remember the "Alien guy" more though. I can't remember what he called himself, but he used to come in here and talk about his "alien plan" or something like that. That was probably at least six years ago. Does anyone else remember that guy?

Kator was a strange but entertaining character. Not sure where, if at all, he would fit on the missing you list though.

Oh my goodness Kator! He was such an odd duck. He was on the TexMurphy.com board, not the unofficial right?

And the little freako was Mikey. Man he was a pain in the ass. Remember when he crashed the chat? Little butthead! Didn't someone on the board actually get in contact with his Dad or something? Like Mikey was just a punk kid. Am I remembering rightly??

As far as Ripley, yeah, I miss her extra hard, cause you know that she won't suddenly post again. That she's the 1st of us that is REALLY gone, that I know of. Let's hope it's the only.
