Copying disks and CD's

Since Microsoft bought the tex murphy series and treashed them , refusing all support then is it not now freeware or abandoned ware so we should be able to copy at will with no threat of legal ramifications.

Well, I wouldn't say that. They can afford lots of lawyers.

The rights to Tex Murphy are no longer owned by Microsoft. They were bought back by the Access boys (although no longer as 'Access Software'). But it is still Illegal to copy and distribute them, so long as they are not considered abandonware. Whether or not the Access boys care or not is another story.
