Dosbox and XP

Hi guys I just found the dosbox program and I love it. It works great for most of my old dos games.
However as you probably already guessed it doesnt work to well with the tex games. I get UAKM and Pandora to work but they are choppy and hard to play. It almost seems I dont have enough memory to run, even though I have like 512 (or something like that) (P4 1.66)
Any ideas of how to get it to work, also if you do have an idea please be detailed. I am not the best at editing these things to work.
Thanks a bunch
Shawn

I haven't found this Dosbox program... So where can I find it and is it difficult to use?...
I would love to do another round of my TM-games with this computer!
The last years I've been using an old laptop when playing these games, but that got destroyed (when I dropped it down the stairs, actually

) recently, so I'd be very happy if this works on this computer!...

Just do a google search on dosbox. On their forum someone has posted a visual instruction manual on installing and using dosbox. Its very useful, frankly I was intiminated at first but when I found that help it was a sinch. My old sierra games are working near perficly.

How do you increase speed or frames? Are you talking about an in game option or a dosbox config?

to increase speed, it's alt f12 (and to decrease alt f11) You can read the speed at thep top of your dosbox your window
there is some kind of "tutorial" in the dosbox site forum...
If i can give you an advice, you can modify the lines codes to insert lines who automaticlly, mount your drive or drives when you start the program...
sorry for my english... and good luck!

the best way to increase the CPu speed of dosbox is to go into the config and change the cpu cycles. At 20000, PD runs really nice.
dosbox.

Dosbox can be found at dosbox.sourceforge.net. I've used it for a few years to play uakm and recently pandora, as v.63 was able to handle the cd swapping. You need a fairly decent computer to play the games with decent enough performance.
