You'll find everything you need, to setup and run Pandora, on my website: http://home.wideopenwest.com/~hbech/ Just click on the Downloads button.

The Instructions can also be downloaded from the Downloads page of my website. http://home.wideopenwest.com/~hbech/ They're located directly under the Pandora for DOSBox0.72 button. You are given a choice to "save", or "open" the instructions.

i'm gonna retry tomorrow on my break, I only installed dosbox and pandora for dosbox, but I got to the control panel for the game after I got the sound stuff set up...and then when I choose new game and the game path i want to play...the screen goes black and all that is visible is the cursor...help, oh great Nilo!!!

You shouldn't have needed to setup the sound if you had followed the instructions on my website. Also, you mentioned that you "only installed dosbox and pandora for dosbox," What about installing VDMSound2[1].1.0 and VDMS LaunchPad? Or were they previously installed for another game? If that's the case, then make sure that it's version VDMSound2[1].1.0 and not another version.

no, I didn't install those other two files...that's probably why I am having trouble...I wanted to see if I could just install the dosbox file and the pandorafordosbox file only to see if I could get the game going right away...but it didn't work..but like I said...I'm gonna try again when I get time and I am going to follow all of your directions to the T and hopefully it will work for me this time...if not, I shall be calling on you again for your wise insights into Tex Murphy Eutopia.

Just a suggestion, Nilo, but why don't you put your website link at the bottom of your posts or in your sig? It would definitely help people - especially those who want to run Tex games through Dosbox - to find what they need.

By the way, you're certainly the expert in that area. 8)

Thank you for bringing this to my attention, I'm_melting_I'm_melting
You're right, I should have the link to my website available with my posts. The only reason I haven’t been is because my site still in the development stage, and I’ve been doing a considerable amount editing – trying to get the bugs out. And as a result there is a lot of lag time going from page to page. It’s only a temporary cessation of time between pages, but it can be quite annoying and frustrating. But, you are right! And I will add my website along with my signature. Hopefully, time permitting; my website will be finished in the near future.

And by the way, I only wish I was “the expert”. Far from it, but thanks for the praise! :)
