Sound problems in Martian Memorandum

Hello

I have a question regarding this game. I use Dosbox and everything is allright except for the sound. The sound is allright up to the point where Marshall tells me his daughter is abducted and the video fragment is shown and then he tells that something else was stolen from him. But then the text just appears on screen and he doesn't talk anymore. After the guy Sparrow (with the brains hanging out of his head, I don't know his name really is it Sparrow I don't really know) He just smiles but there is no sound. My question is now: how can one character produce sound and the other can't?

Thanks for an reply

Isabelle

Hello again

I don't think so, I even tried to play the game on a slow computer (the first Pentium which were like 75 Mhz.

Even then the same problem occurred.

I wonder if the file could be corrupted because Mac after Marshall has his voice back.

Strange...

Hello Protjen!

Maybe you have wrong sound card?
I played MM on PIII 500Mhz with AWE32 under MS-DOS. Everything was allright.
Try to download MM from http://www.the-underdogs.org

Try SB16 or AWE32.
