Predicting the Future! Today!

Let me tell ya, predicting the future is a lot harder than predicting the past. That stuff is easy in comparison! So here is my prediction as to what the new Tex game will look like. Notice, I'm not saying if. There will be a new Tex game. I have spoken with the Gods via e-mail, and they have given their thumbs up!
1. Believe it or not, the platform that will feature Tex's return is the X-Box 360! The company that damned Tex to hide away in this safe haven of the internet shall play host to his revival. Let's look at the evidence as to why.
A. Graphics wise, it is, in technical terms, the bomb. Here are some links to images of the current next generation line up.

Anybody worried about what Tex would look like in CG should just take a look at these images, and hopefully almost all doubts will be swayed. I know ahead of time not to try convincing Alex against FMV, but I'm sure if it's a new Tex game that's published, he'll buy it too.
B. In regards to the capabilities of the system, the physical aspects have all been taken care of. Issues in regards to collision detail are a thing of the past. Older games like the original Medal of Honor and even the majority of it's sequels have been constrained to linear paths with plenty of loading, but supposedly, now that has come to an end.
And this is where Tex comes in. The only thing restraining Tex from wandering about the alleyways is money. (This subject covered later in post)
2. The game will feature the voices and likeness of all returning actors, as well as some new ones.
3. The game will be played in first person.
4. There will be multiple ways to acheive an objective. Such as, say Tex needs to enter a room. He could try to track down the key. Or he could pick the lock. Or he could sneak in through the fire escape. Or he could knock. Choices!
5. Money...seems important. I'll get back to it.
6. The inventory system is back, but a whole lot bigger. As the game will have a more open feel to it, and as there may be more items to aquire, specific items marked as modifiable will be available to combine and make more useable trinkets. An electric screwdriver is useless without it's various tips.
7. There will be one large main city, but that doesn't mean Tex can't travel to other locations as he finds out about them.
8. And then there's the big issue. Money. Funding has to come from somewhere, believe it or not. This is the main reason why FMV won't work. Nobody would pay for it. So, we have to think, who would actually pay for a new Tex game?
Off the bat, say no to Electronic Arts. To big of a company, and their games are more on the marketable sale than anything else.
Perhaps Ubi Soft would fund it? As they are notorious for the production of the Myst series, the idea of them publishing a budgeted adventure game isn't too out of the question.
Well, at the very least, that's something on the table in regards to money that wasn't there before. I'll let that subject settle for now.
9. Online features. Every game has to have online features these days, and Tex is no exception. So what do Tex fans do online? Race each other, of course! I think the idea of plowing full throttle down the busy streets of San Fransisco in a speeder, hurtling down narrow alleyways against your friends sounds like fun. Sue me! No really! Take my five pennies!
And thus is the future, as produced by amateur psychic vision 3000! Get more accurate readings with version 3005! Buy yours, today!
