I was in the bookstore yesterday looking for something to read, and what do I find? Almost every good detective noir novel is being reprinted, I bought Top of the Heap by Erle Stanley Garder. Also I got The Maltese Falcon - Dashiell Hammet and The lady in the lake - Raymond Chandler.
The reprints were done under the name "Hard Case Crime" which I guess is the publisher?
In any case, if they sell, that means there is indeed intrest out there in the general public, which means Tex may have a chance.
Thought I'd put it out there.

First, welcome TP!!! Yes, we are here because we believe Tex will make a comeback. Good to see the old novels in reprint.

Maybe Aaron could get them to reprint the novel version of Under A Killing Moon which has gotten rare these days (reprinting Pandora Directive wouldn't hurt either). Depends on costs though I guess but if they sound like they're dedicated to that particular genre so maybe they offer a cutdown price. Would be good publicity too, especially if they were reprinted with a special foreword/note at the front about the Tex Murphy games or this website even.

To be honest, I've never read the UAKM book, I did read the pandora directive one just for a Tex Fix, but other than that I didnt like it so much. was just a watered down version of the story from the game....

I've never read UAKM because I havent been able to get my hands on it. I dont feel like reading the pdf version and I dont want to print it out. Pandora is an amazing read and is one of my prized possessions.

Suck it up, and read the PDF.

It's really good. There's PLENTY of stuff not in the game that's in the book. You'd like it, trust me.
