Great looking new board! But what has happened with the posts on the old board?? A lot of posts seems to be missing - just take a look at the dates.... Does anybody know what has happened??

Hmm... not sure what you mean. I think that ezboard does weed out some posts after the post count for a particular forum reaches around 6000 or so, but by that time the ones in question are old enough that they aren't being replied to anymore.

The last topic on page 1 under "general" on the old board is dated May 13th 2005.

If you look on page 2, right below "**NEW MESSAGE BOARD IS UP AND RUNNIN'!!!** ", you will se that the last comment was made on July 15th 2003... The one below that one is dated May 28th 2003, then April 12th 2004 and so on. The newest post on page 2 seems to be dated April 20th 2004...

I became aware of the problem when I was looking for an old post in "Tex Support". I couldn't find the post I was looking for, and the noticed taht a lot of posts seemed to be gone.

Am I the only one with this problem?? Does it have anything to do with the "Important ezAnnouncement" on the top of the page?

There was an EZboard notification when I visited saying they were experiencing some kind of technical difficulties. Maybe that's the issue?

Yeah, I just read the notification today (after having ignored it earlier :)). Supposedly ezboard was hit by a hack attack... or a Big Mac Attack... both of which can be equally devastating. They're on their way to resolving the issue though.

Must save this topic from being killed by Ripley. ::Breathes life into it::

Ahh, Ripley... May she rest in peace and be happy, where ever she has gone to now.

Humor me for a moment....since Ripley (loved her dearly) has moved on, who is posting in her stead? Her daughter? Please make this known. Thanks!

Yeah, it took me a while but finally figured it out. I miss her deeply.

Her sig seems eerie. In a somewhat creepy, Twilight-Zone-ish prescient way.

No disrespect meant, I miss Ripley as much as you guys, and I always respect the departed, but... Of all the things Ripley could have put in her signature, *that* quote from Alien, is... eerie.
