What interests me about this is that it's a boxed set. To me, they plan on doing a complete reissue of the complete series. So, a DVD edition is likely, if not a prudent business decision. If they're simultaneously PC/MAC compatible, yet another bonus. If not, no biggie, just as long as they run seamlessly on Windows 7 with some 64-bit enhancements (digital remastering, clearer video, tighter resolution), i'm a happy camper.Demonlawyer wrote:Ps I wonder if the Overseer boxed edition will be the DVD version? That would be nice!
According to the "Delivery Date" of December 2012 on the $15 game reward tier, they'll have to be filming it in the next few months to get it out in time. I hope they won't end up having to rush it. I wouldn't of minded waiting until next year sometime for them to really polish it all off.redcat72 wrote:Just has to most likely be next year, and when they are filming ideally.

I say do it for the entire trilogy. Kind of like Lucasarts' treatment of the Monkey Island remasters. Polish the graphics, sound, move it beyond the 640X480 resolution but also have an option to switch between the Special Edition and the traditional version.plumgas wrote:I would rather as a reward a working dvd of overseer
Oh gosh, WOW. I'm so happy to see this doing so well. What a pleasant surprise to find when I come to work. I'll chip in a bit later in the run-- I can see that my $ isn't needed to make a good showing so far.
It would be just as practical to be given a working Windows '98 computer with the perfect specifications to run it. I tried to build one out of old parts and couldn't do it!plumgas wrote:I would rather as a reward a working dvd of overseer
He's a pro. Surely he slept very well. (or maybe not? Who knows?) I know I didn't sleep well.plumgas wrote:65,000 guys, I wonder whether chris jones got much sleep last night
