114% and 514,000 make me happy anyway. Something about that number just speaks to me.... :D

It's probably some troll who has no intention of pledging anyway. If you can pledge super high and then pull it right away, why not to screw with people? Believe me, screwing with people is an artform, and in this day in age the kids are so good at it I don't even know they're trolling until its too late.
I'm not fat ... I'm festively plump.

The good news is... pledged cannot be retracted within the last 24 hours, at least the ones that would push it below the 100% threshold.

The bad news... seeing as we are well above the 100% threshold, a significant amount of $$$ can be retracted within the last 24 hours anyway.

Some of the folks on the other KS campaigns have been setting up what is called a "troll trap". It's where they see some donations that they suspect are from trolling users, and then one genuine user deliberately makes a donation that pushes it over the line within the last 24 hours... making it impossible for the trolling users to withdraw their pledges.

Quite a neat trick if you ask me!

I like the troll trap. I think it would serve trolls right.
OK... to be fair... I guess I can understand why a non-troll would retract or reduce a pledge once a project starts doing well. Earlier on when things weren't going as well I pledged a lot, and I don't think I'll ever be able to admit to my family how much I gave.

I'm keeping my pledge right where it is; I have savings to do that and I'm happy to support something I believe in. But I can understand why someone might be less attached now that the situation isn't desperate.
