Damn! Why did I go to bed!! I can't believe its already so high!! Well I think I may go up to a grand. Although, I'd love to do 2,500 which is a stretch but my hubby will think I am absolutely nuts...

And I am so tired - kept thinking about it all night. I should have just gotten up and checked.

I haven't posted here in years, but I figure I should let everyone know I'm still around and I have contributed. I'll admit I had given up hope long ago of ever seeing Tex again. Kickstarter has certainly changed all of that!

I can't wait to have Tex back!

I always admired your work, Matthew. I hadn't been around in a long time, either.

You have 31 days, even if the goal is met before then. Put it this way, I was only prepared to pledge $300, but the box set offer was too good, so i've gone $200.00 over budget, but I can easily make that up over 4 weeks yet i've virtually doubled what I was prepared to spend (keep in mind i'm a student and work Part Time only).

But, at the same time, a leap from $2500 to $5000 is a big leap, so I can't judge. The moral to take away is that if the additional funds won't break the bank too badly and you can realistically make up the difference over the next 31 days and still keep your head comfortably above water, then go for it. But don't skip meals and work too much overtime just for a PC game, even if it is Tex. That's not what Aaron and Chris would want.

I put in my $750... I was debating between that and the $500 but I just needed the Fedora and books. I own one of the books already but was never able to track down the other. I've loved Tex since I'd first played UAKM at a friends house and my first PC was built specifically for Tex. I'd even bought a 4 disc CD changer to save on the swapping. I've been waiting for this for sooooo long. I was willing to go up to 1k for it, but sadly there's nothing there that I care about... I mean, the comic would be nice, as would the ID, but I just can't justify the extra $250 for it. If only I smoked. :P

Seems we're all constantly refreshing the page to see the number go up... It's making me giddy. ^_^
True. Thanks for your advice. What's really going to clinch it, is *when* you can take the tour? If it's not limited to a specific time frame, then I think I'll do it. Just has to most likely be next year, and when they are filming ideally. Come on Utah guys, wake up and answer my question. LOL! It's only 6 am out there.

I was just thinking this myself. Is there anyway we could have a piggy bank counter on the website that can keep up with the Kickstarter counter?
