For special delivery instructions, I added this: "Hand delivery by Tex Murphy". They haven't denied my request.
Dedicated to the Tex Murphy, P.I. franchise created by Chris Jones and Aaron Conners, and to the ever-growing community of Tex fans from around the world.

That would increase the cost of international shipping to way beyond $20. Perhaps they'll send everything except the actual physical copy of the game in one package. It wouldn't make sense to send out rewards one at a time, at the $1000 tier you'd probably end up paying almost $100 in shipping before you were done ...Joel wrote:Given that the development and eventual release of the game is almost a year and a half away (12 - 15 months development which has yet to have commenced, then you have to add promoting, physically manufacturing and distributing the product), it wouldn't surprise me if they syphon the incentives out in increments. By releasing the stuff every one to two months, it makes the wait less arduous. So in one month you may get your shot glasses, a couple of months later the novels or comics, maybe the box set in time for Christmas, then perhaps in the new year we'll hear the new Radio Theatre episodes.
They must have sent the emails out in phases. I finally got mine earlier today without having to PM them.Joel wrote:I'd PM Chris and Aaron on the Kickstarter page.
Thank goodness. I don't think anyone wants dog food for lunch.plumgas wrote:lol that would be really funny, they might ask tex to take off his sandshoes........
but I think the lunch was listed as chris jones & not tex murphy
Not since I was 10, anyway.joliet_jane wrote:Thank goodness. I don't think anyone wants dog food for lunch.plumgas wrote:
I wouldn't be so sure, in interviews when asked Chris does say he shares similarities with Tex.joliet_jane wrote:Thank goodness. I don't think anyone wants dog food for lunch.
http://www.unofficialtexmurphy.com/mess ... 644#p51644CathyH: I've been meaning to ask... At the 5K level 'lunch w/ Chris Jones' - who picks up the tab?![]()
Chris & Aaron: Cathy, we will treat you to the drive-through restaurant of your choice! And it's dinner with Chris AND Aaron!
All the cans of Eat the Rich you can eat!
The restaurant needs to either serve pizza, steaks, chocolate milk, or some combination, to get Ardo in there...Sai wrote:When Cathy asked them about the "lunch with Chris Jones" they revealed its actually Dinner with Chris and Aaron. So they should ask Aaron to come as Ardo Newpop too just to make it all in-character. I'm sure that won't get funny looks in the restaurant, assuming he can fit through the doors.
