Thanks Sai, just one more question.
In Update #6 vid, the first Aaron sentence is
"I'm Aaron Conners, half of the creative team of the new tex murphy game", am I right? I'm not sure and I think I misheard the word "half".
Thx

Here's my transcription gufino2, and anyone else who needs it to translate into their native language. Aaron did talk fairly quickly in this one.

Kickstarter Video Update #6 by Aaron Conners

Aaron: Oh, hi there.
I’m Aaron Conners, half of the creative team of the new Tex Muphy game
Unlike my partner, Chris Jones, I don’t need to need to have my face on camera every single second of the day.

Chris’ voice: Hey Aaron! Aaron Hey! Hey wha-what are you doing.
Aaron: ok so…
Chris: Good luck.
Aaron: Alright, so…

Aaron: Ok, so anyway let’s talk about what kind of game Project Fedora’s going to be. Um, for those of you who’ve played the old Tex Murphy games, Under a Killing Moon, The Pandora Directive and Overseer – you know what to expect.
Tex Murphy lives in the Ritz Hotel, which is an apartment that doubles as his office. The Ritz is on Chandler Avenue - a dead end street in an old section of New San Francisco.
There are several businesses on that street including Rook’s Pawn Shop, and the Brew n Stew, a diner owned by Tex’s best friend Louie.

There are lots of other characters there as well, and I think our fans will be happy to know that a lot of them are going to be back in the new game.
In our Kickstarter video we’ve given you a glimpse of Chandler Avenue. Which will be familiar to our fans even though it’s been given a really spectacular facelift.

We’ve also shown you how good the FMV can look. But for those of you who haven’t played our previous games, FMV is just one element to those games.
You’re going to do a lot of exploring, shadowing suspects, breaking into locations, avoiding security. And uh, even more frequently searching areas such as crime scenes, back alleys, and other areas for clues and evidence.

You’re going to solve a ton of puzzles, you’re going to have to find, examine, combine and use inventory objects in clever ways.
You’ll learn about people, places and things which you’ll have to ask characters about to get to get new leads and clues.
There’ll be computer files to unlock, documents and notes to read. All of these are going to be providing intriguing information which will develop the story.

Are games are not at all “twitchy.” There is danger and sometimes you’ll have to be careful where you go and what you do. But this isn’t an action game or a shooter. You’ll need to use your brain, cleverness and persistence to get breaks in the case. You’ll be challenged, but as always we’re going to provide a great hint system so you’re never going to be stuck.
So that’s kind of an overview of what the game is going to be. We hope this helps clear it up for those of you who aren’t familiar with it. And we really look forward to you playing our game.

Really really thank you, redcat72.
I'm almost done with the 2 Aaron vids, now I'm gonna work on episode 2 of the Voice of New San Francisco

as an unofficial outcast and not the most lovely member of this board, maybe i`m asking too much, but can someone do a transcript of update#8? i asked Cubase, but he ignored my question or missed it, i don`t know, perhaps i hurted his feelings on the previous page...
i just don`t have much time to do it by ear now, and honestly just too lazy for it
btw, it`s unofficially ok to ignore this post

my voice just: I'm not done yet with update #8, but if I'll have some spare time I think I can make a transcription.

And I have another question, about Aaron's Update #7.
At about 00:48 does he say "...and he has no memory of anything that happened in the intro"?
Does he actually say "intro"? I don't see any sense in that...
If Aaron says that the story starts with Tex not remebering a things, in my books THAT's the intro, so how can Tex not remember what happened in the intro? I'm puzzled -_-

Let me check my notes gufino. I think I transcribed this one too.
I haven't done Cub's yet - I'll see if I can get to it unless Cub beats me first. I bet he already has it typed up all nice and pretty.

Nope, I didn't transcribe this one. Doh!
But the word is interim. Not intro.

Redcat72, I have to ask you just another word... In the same Aaron vid, at 01:00, he says "..though may provide deeper context ???? for those who have".
I hear "deeper context TO MEAN" but in my knowledge of english that wouldn't be correct grammar...

Really thank you

For my Tex Murphy: A Kickstarter You Can Trust video I made an English captions file (partly because my voice sucks) . I'm not saying it's worth translating, I'm just giving ya'll the SBV file text if someone wants to:

Joilet_Jane, your voice doesn't suck! I really liked your video. Your tone seemed not unlike a female equivalent of CJ's.

lol if Tex Murphy has to disguise himself as a woman to break into someplace they'll have to cast jane then as a voice actor! :)

As for your video, it was funny and perfectly clear to me, your voice was great, it fit the tone very well.

A girl CJ? You know, I can't prove it, but I suspect it has already happened.

I could be wrong, though. It's hard to tell at that resolution.
