Happy birthday to....
Thank you to everyone who took the time to wish me a happy birthday. I missed you guys.
I spent my birthday on the beautiful Road to Hana on Maui. It had rained heavily on the 2nd, so snorkeling on the nude beach was out.
Did that later!!!!
But it was perfect. A long quiet ride admiring some of the most beautiful scenery on this earth, a swim on the black sand beach, countless amazing sites. (and I wasn't driving! bonus) And then a HUGE bucket of garlic shrimp at Bubba Gump's, with an all too embarrassing round of the Happy Birthday song. But you know, I never turn down chocolate cake and ice cream.
A link to a few pics will be forthcoming in a couple of days. And no, don't even ask that question!!!
Cheers All!!!

Jen,
The raod to Hana is amazing. There's a small inlet on the way with a stand that sells the most amazing banana bread. I hope you had a chance to try it (if not, you'll just have to go back, I know). Also, did you get a chance to try the Cheesburger in Paradise joint? First thing I did when I got there and, man, did that hit the spot! There's also a place upstairs a little ways down on the other side of the road where breakfast was way affordable and you could actually feed the sparrows right from your hand. They'd even hop onto your palm to get a helping. Ahh, memories (dozes off...)
Oh, and Happy (belated) Birthday

You want me to do this project? Well, here's the way it works:
Cheap, good, fast. Pick any two.

Cheeseburger in paradise. Oh yes, my first meal was there this time around. This is my third visit to Maui, man I so want to snowbird there. But yes, love the eateries on Front Street. Kimo's, Bubba Gump's, Moose McGillicuddies's, ah such good stuff.
The banana bread place was closed, boo hoo, not gone, just empty at that time.
So I didn't take a ton of photos like last time, just didn't want to tote the darn thing around. But here's some of the ones that we took. Feel free to look in the older Maui folder for a lot of really good ones from my last trip.
