What is some of your favorite noir stuff? & Max Payne fans?

If I ever buy an Xbox 360, it will be specifically to play Max Payne 3. I loved the first 2 on the PS2 so much that I bought them again on the PC to get the superior experience.

What I loved about Max Payne is Max Payne. He's a tough man who's (mostly) morally good yet painfully vulnerable. ...Kinda like Tex!
I've never played any Max Payne games, but the name strikes me as someone who likes to deliver pain.
It's a story of a guy who does deliver pain.

It's a story of vengeance, but when you play it, you can really see the guy is hurting.

Of course, anyone would react the way he did if their family was killed as it was at the beginning of the first one.
