Might also be that iOS has 2 GB space limit. Just the original pandora directive needed 6 cd's which prob was around 2GB. Now with higher quality textures/movies the size will prob increase a fair bit.

Our backer numbers are quite good so far today (53). If we can squeeze in a $20,000+ day today including the PayPal campaign, we're in a good position to strike for $585,000 with the banner ads starting on major gaming sites Monday and the last minute rush that should start around Wednesday of next week.

A few articles about us would be nice too.

We only need 16k a day till the end to make it.

So far we've got $16K already today, so I suspect that we had a bunch of either lurkers waiting to see how this would turn out OR the E3 announcement stuff caught enough attention to this that a bunch of people who may not have known about the project are getting involved. Either way, I project that we will meet that requirements for all the stretch goals.

Remember though, all my projections are 20% math, 30% guess work, and 70% bourbon, and all 100% accurate.

As long as you have the appropriate disclaimer language, I think you're in the clear. :)

I think IGN and Gamespot will cover the project later in development when it crystalizes a bit, maybe do a preview, but probably not before then.

There's banner ads coming on Monday though. I think we'll make our stretch goal no problem. This is exciting!

We're looking great - nearly at 10% with 7 1/2 days to go.

20% should be fine, and I think we will see at least one more 10k backer. I just wish it could be me.

For me, it's all about more story, more chandler ave., and a REAL symphony orchestra! Don't get me wrong, the synthesizers of old have their charm, but think about how great the songs would sound with a full orchestra. That would be amazing.

Yeah, it would certainly enhance the cinematic feel to the story. They said on the UTM Chat Interview:
Chris & Aaron: We'll have our usual mix of jazz and big movie theme music.
"big movie theme music" with a live orchestra would be pretty epic.

Alright, everyone give Carnac an envelope to guess when we will hit some of these stretch goals!

Admittedly I would have been more excited if they says "Jazz ensemble" and not "symphony orchestra."

I don't know, Frogacuda. I think it would be pretty darned awesome if the composer tried to emulate the music of noir films. I don't mean "jazz", which is the music of the era but often doesn't appear in the score itself, but the kind of dramatic scoring (lots of dramatic tremolo strings, for instance) seen in The Big Sleep, The Maltese Falcon, and the other noir films that inspired Chris Jones. They could update it a bit, perhaps, along the lines of Goldsmith's brilliant, understated Chinatown score. I really love Pandora's score during game play, though, so I would be content with that. I'm just reacting to the idea that jazz music per se needs to be playing in the background. Anyone know what I mean? :)

Jerry, another more recent example would be the sound track to LA Noire, subdued, but perfectly fit.

Yeah, yeah, I know. It wasn't a real complaint. Tex is back and everything is perfect. :)
