I wholeheartedly agree with our Prime Minister Jens Stoltenberg saying the answer to violence is even more democracy. Even more humanity.

Horrible horrible stuff. My thoughts go out to those on Tex here and to everyone hurt by this. Unbelievable horror.

There really aren't words to describe how horrid this tragedy is or how horrified I feel. My prayers are with everyone who's been touched by this.

Anders Behring Breivik, 32, is due to appear in court in Oslo later today after telling police that Saturday's bombing and shooting attack was "cruel" but "necessary".

I'd like to know what exactly his reasoning is behind it being necessary...... since when is killing children ever necessary??!!!
