Tex Murphy: Chance would be ideal if AC combines the last 3 into one game like it was rumored.

However if they are going to be a trilogy then yeah what Fred said.
I always though "Games of Chance" was a great title, as it was in one of the Radio Theatre episodes.

.it was due to the rather lack-luster response from the community
I know exactly how you feel.

For years, everyone here has been *begging* for a new Tex game. So, to test the waters, I give them two installments of a new Tex game (the Pandora novel recast as interactive fiction) and hardly anyone even gives it a try while even fewer give any feedback. So I have given up on trying to create a full game.

(DrPaul trying to heap more guilt on the fire....)
I thought you just put out a demo Doc... If you got more I'll play it, even though I suck at text adventures.

Aaron? Are you listening? I think Cub has a good name for your next game :D
There were a lot of things in those 6 episodes... lol

If there is another game is it going to be based on the Radio Episodes or is it going to be slated for after the Radio Episodes???
Or will it be something completely different???

I would be happy with AC and CJ just getting together and making a crapload of Radio Theaters...those were the bomb. Kind of a throw back to the days of theatrical radio shows (i.e. The Shadow, The Fugitive...) I love it.

Oh, and speaking of throwbacks to old radio shows...you guys have gotta check out The Radioland Murders...that movie is hilarious. Much better than Prairie Home Companion (The Movie)...however PHC on the on public radio is just great.

Blimey I hit 300, thanks for the congrats guys, though I really should post more maybe too.

Jen, your work is great and just the fact that you make an effort is inspiring. Don't give up - if anything take a 'career break' or something from it but do come back to it.

Adinsreaction - so how the name?

And Barefunny, good to see you still posting here. Haven't caught up in a while but we should.

Oh, and yeah, the form that Tex receives, made out to the previous occupant? It just needed to be signed, stamped and mailed. It came as a free coupon thingy to the previous occupant, but Tex had to sign his name on the form, then put a stamp on the envelope and go down to the street and mail it.

That was done with the pen found in the desk drawer, by the way.

I trust AC with continuity implicitly.

It wasn't a Coupon it said that it was an Application made out to the Previous Occupant... I know he had to sign it... But still that doesn't reveal His Real Name... According to Pandora Tex is just a Nickname his brothers and sisters gave him after making the hole in the ceiling...

Yeah, he had to sign it. Apparently in his wisdom he wrote 'Texas Murphy' on the form in UAKM, hence it shows up like so on Zach's computer in PD. How fake that name is, I dunno.

Aaron will tell us when the time is right.
